Karmiel Municipality and the JNF designed and constructed a unique riding park within the area of Tzahal Forest and Alon Forest. Within Alon Forest there is a pump track made of stabilized platforms, and beside it are several riding skills elements placed consecutively, from which it is possible to continue the riding track to the start of a circular 5-kilometer single track. The single track, which starts at Alon Park, descends into Tzahal Forest, where it loops back to the start position. Tzahal Forest is characterized by moderate gradients and large rock surfaces, and during wintertime it gets covered with a bed of cyclamens and other blossoming flowers, making for a unique riding experience. The park answers an immediate need for the residents of the city of Karmiel and environs who wish to go out for short and intensive XC riding in nature or to improve their riding ability on a pump track.
